Birds in Chains

Birds in Chains is a visual symphony, at once impactful and complex. The luminous majesty of the birds arrests the eye, whilst the intricacy of the ever-unfurling ornamental and botanical design keep the gaze rapt. The vertical, serpentine repeat of twisting vines, palms and chains give a sense of soaring dimension. Electric flashes of colour loom out of subdued hues, and the near-neon bright birds seem as though they might lift off the fabric and take flight. Printed on cotton satin, the texture and lustre of the fabric complement the lyricism of the colour and design.
